Jean-Louis Corbier, a reckless, unscrupulous boy, was content to live off other people's money, until one day he runs out of tricks and finds himself destitute. In desperation, he steals a van full of household appliances. Surprised by the driver, Jeran-Louis flees. He's stopped in his tracks by a moped that throws itself in his path. This brings him face-to-face with Patrick, who also seems to be fleeing for similar reasons. Patrick and Jean-Louis become inseparable and commit their first petty thefts. They are soon joined by Amar, a friend of Jean-Louis who has just been released from prison. The trio decide to pull off a major heist.
