Plot summary

They go from town to town, a big top on their backs, their show over their shoulder. They bring dreams and disorder to people's lives. They are ogres, giants. They've devoured the theater and miles and miles of road. But the imminent arrival of a baby and the return of a former lover make almost-forgotten feelings resurface. So the party begins.
