Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It's known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Nearby beach resorts include bustling Pattaya and fashionable Hua Hin.

A leafy residential suburb, Suan Luang is home to temples like Wat Ban Thung Seri, with distinctive pink walls and golden window frames, plus the canalside Wat Thong Nai and Wat Khachonsiri. Hip, open-air cafes serve specialty coffee and desserts, while Phatthanakan Road caters to university students with cool global dining restaurants. The nearby King Rama IX Park has a large lake set in landscaped gardens.

Bang Sue is one of the 50 districts of Bangkok, Thailand. It borders Chatuchak to the east, Phaya Thai to the southeast, Dusit to the south, Bang Phlat and Bang Kruai across the Chao Phraya to the west and Mueang Nonthaburi to the north.

Pathum Thani is one of the central provinces of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are: Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Saraburi, Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Bangkok, and Nonthaburi. The province is north of Bangkok and is part of the Bangkok metropolitan area.
