Alberto Colifo and Jorge Pumba are two middle-aged Argentine musicians who have been living in Europe for years. When they take refuge in the Argentine embassy after causing a problem at their workplace, the authorities discover that decades ago the duo were supposed to do their mandatory military service but never did. Despite their protests that they are too old to serve in the army as conscripts, Pumba and Colifo are conscripted and sent to Argentina to complete their training.
