Cuautla is a city in the Mexican state of Morelos. It's noted for its rich war history. The Museo Histórico de Cuautla has displays on revolutionary leaders Emiliano Zapata and José María Morelos y Pavón. Southwest is the Ex-hacienda de Chinameca, where Zapata was ambushed and killed in 1919. His remains are buried in the Plaza de la Revolución del Sur. El Almeal and Agua Hedionda are natural hot springs.
