Ramiro, Santiago and Gildo, three militiamen, are persecuted by a patrol of the Benemérita under the control of a sergeant who is in love with the same woman that Ramiro. To get enough money to get them to France, the militiamen kidnap the owner of a mine and demand 150,000 pesetas in exchange for their freedom.
