Plot summary
The story as well as the film take their title from the Bengali Culture Custom of exchanging garlands as it is the part of the wedding rituals. Jatin, a young doctor, is nagged by his cousin Patal to get married. She introduces Kurani, an innocent girl, to Jatin. What happens next, is a heartbreaking tragedy.
