Plot summary

Passionate gardener Francis Jacobs, a widower, is shattered when his daughter Isabella, who hoped to become a concert pianist, survives a car accident but becomes deaf. Thomas Philipps needs to pay off debts and promises his scary creditor to sell the family restaurant, which he and his sister, cook Nina, inherited, requiring to discourage her from actually running it. Cupid complicates matters, and ultimately the truth.
