Plot summary

A young French reporter visits Japan to investigate the phenomenon of 'Death By Loneliness', which seems to have occurred following the 1995 Kobe earthquake. She interviews various people in Kobe and meets Kenji Ishida. The reporter learns that Kenji himself was a photojournalist during the Kobe earthquake.
