Plot summary

Three men named Ludovic living in Paris were born on the same day, Ludovic Seguin (an engineer), Ludovic Lechartier (a rich financier) and Ludovic Mareuil (a tough guy on the wrong side of the law). Fresh from her mining village young Anne-Marie, will bring these three men together. First courted by the engineer, she lets herself be seduced by the outlaw who is soon put under arrest for car theft. She then allows her new employer, the financier, to woo her. But Anne-Marie's taste for luxury gradually wanes and when, just released from jail, the gangster meets her in the street, he realizes the young woman has changed. She confesses her true love for the engineer, the least showing off and the most sincere of the three Ludovics. Moved by the young woman's distress, the hood contacts the banker and both decide to join forces to find Ludovic Seguin ...
