Indie galleries, surf shops and Hawaiian plate-lunch spots fill Haleiwa town, while the Dole Plantation runs tours of its pineapple fields and tropical gardens.

Kahuku is a census-designated place in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. In the Hawaiian language, ka huku means "the projection", presumably a reference to Kahuku Point nearby, the northernmost point of land on the island of Oahu. As of the 2010 Census, Kahuku had a population of 2,614.

Honolulu, on the island of Oahu’s south shore, is capital of Hawaii and gateway to the U.S. island chain. The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for dining, nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palms and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head crater looming in the distance. Sites relating to the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona Memorial.

Laie is a laid-back coastal area known for luau feasts at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Inland, the Laie Falls Trail leads to a waterfall, and the grand Laie Hawaii Temple sits on manicured grounds. Shrimp trucks line the roadside in nearby Kahuku.
