Plot summary
Tomorrow is Alice's sixteenth birthday and her classmate Ales, in the words of his grandmother, "preluded on the wall". The fence opposite the family home suddenly has a sign on it that reads "I love you!". The inhabitants of the house begin to search for its originator. Is Alice the only one to whom the inscription could belong? What if little Pepánek was practicing his handwriting? Or could it be Dad's confession to Mom? What about the uncle who only has eyes for the lady next door? Not only the young are foolish. All in one house and everyone is suspicious.
