Mississippi Queen Filming Locations

Jackson is the capital city of Mississippi. The statewide Mississippi Freedom Trail runs through the city, encompassing a number of historic sites that were significant in the civil rights movement. These include the Medgar Evers Home Museum and the landmark Mississippi State Capitol building. In leafy LeFleur’s Bluff State Park, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science includes an aquarium and nature trails.

Louisiana is a southeastern U.S. state on the Gulf of Mexico. Its history as a melting pot of French, African, American and French-Canadian cultures is reflected in its Creole and Cajun cultures. Missoula is a city in western Montana. The 1877 Fort Missoula includes restored buildings and the Historical Museum, with local artifacts. The Missoula Art Museum displays contemporary art. A Carousel for Missoula is a merry-go-round with handcrafted wooden ponies. Trails cross rugged Mount Sentinel and Mount Jumbo. Northeast, Rattlesnake National Recreation Area & Wilderness has peaks, forests and waterfalls.
