Karlsfeld is a municipality in the district of Dachau, and a suburb to Munich in Bavaria, Germany. During World War II, it was the location of a subcamp of Dachau concentration camp. The municipality is situated 12 km northwest of Munich.

Landshut is a city straddling the River Isar in Bavaria, southern Germany. It’s known for the medieval Trausnitz Castle, with its views across the old town. Within the castle is the Chamber of Art and Curiosities, displaying artifacts collected by the Wittelsbach dukes. In the old town, Gothic St. Martin’s Church has a tall brick tower. Close to the Isar is the Ländtor, a gate from the town’s medieval fortifications.

Oberammergau is a town in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. It’s known for its once-a-decade performance of the Passion Play in the Passion Play Theater. The House of Pilate has frescoes by Franz Seraph Zwinck and live demonstrations by woodcarvers and artists. Nearby, the Kölblhaus has a gabled roof and a painted exterior, also by Zwinck. The Oberammergau Museum features woodcarvings by local artisans.

Weißenstadt is a town in the district of Wunsiedel, in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the shore of the picturesque Weißenstadter See, in the Fichtel Mountains, on the river Ohře, 11 km northwest of Wunsiedel.
