Leeuwarden is a city and municipality in Friesland, Netherlands, with a population of 127,073. It is the provincial capital and seat of the Provincial Council of Friesland. The region has been continuously inhabited since the 10th century.

Stichtse Vecht is a municipality of the Netherlands and lies in the northwestern part of the province of Utrecht. The municipality has about 63,000 inhabitants and covers an area of about 107 km². Stichtse Vecht was formed on 1 January 2011 by a merger of the municipalities of Breukelen, Maarssen and Loenen.

Egmond aan Zee is a village on the North Sea coast in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Bergen, about 9 km west of Alkmaar. Egmond aan Zee was a separate municipality until 1978, when it merged with Egmond-Binnen and Egmond aan den Hoef to form the new municipality Egmond.
