Plot summary

In an ending that shocked audiences, things are not what they seemed to be. We return to Deep Woods where more of the truth is exposed and learn that the person who confessed to the murder of Margret Ray may not actually be the killer nor the person they appear to be. In this chilling follow up to "Murder After Dark" things begin to happen which blows a hole into the solved case of the Margaret Ray murder. With the killer behind bars everyone should be safe, right? Officer Nicholson (Patricia Poindexter) doesn't think so. She tries to convince Sheriff Bob Shirley (Karl Peterson) that the killer behind bars may not be the killer at all. Sheriff Bob doesn't want to hear it but while he ignores officer Nicholson, the body count rises again and witnesses report unusual sightings. No one is safe in the town of Deep Woods. No one. As the killer eliminates all possible witnesses it becomes a race to the end to stop the killings and get to the truth behind who really killed Margaret Ray and why she was killed to begin with. The entire cast is back in this darker and more dramatic sequel to Murder After Dark. It is full of mystery, drama, some horror and a touch of comedy. It all leads to the real identity of the killer and who it is will shock you to the core. You will never see it coming.
