Minden Hills is a township in and the county seat of Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada. It is an amalgam of the townships of Snowdon, Lutterworth, Anson, Hindon and Minden. It is usually referred to as Minden, after its largest community.

Thunder Bay is a city on Lake Superior, in northwestern Ontario, Canada. The Fort William Historical Park recreates an 1816 fur trading post. A trail leads to the summit of Mount McKay. Offering panoramic views, the Terry Fox Memorial and Lookout features a statue of the athlete and cancer research activist. On Sibley Peninsula, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park has trails, plus wildlife like moose and wolves.

Drumheller is a town northeast of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada. On the edge of town, in Midland Provincial Park, the Royal Tyrrell Museum contains a large collection of dinosaur fossils. Downtown, stairs wind inside the “World’s Largest Dinosaur,” a giant model T-Rex with views from its jaw. To the southeast, the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site explores the Drumheller Valley’s coal-mining heritage.

Greater Sudbury is a city in Ontario, Canada. Near the Ramsey Lake waterfront, Science North is a museum with a planetarium and IMAX cinema. Part of the museum, the Dynamic Earth science centre is home to a giant replica of a 1951 Canadian nickel. Housed in a mansion, the Art Gallery of Sudbury shows contemporary works. Railroad equipment and vintage mining tools are on display at the Northern Ontario Railway Museum.

Tofino is a small district on Vancouver Island, off Canada's west coast. It sprawls on a peninsula within Clayoquot Sound, characterised by wild natural scenery including lakes, inlets and ancient rainforest. Sandy beaches with year-round surfing facilities include Cox Bay, Chesterman Beach and popular Long Beach, part of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. The relaxed town of Tofino sits on the peninsula's tip.
