Alicante is a port city on Spain’s southeastern Costa Blanca, and the capital of the Alicante province. Its old town, Barrio de la Santa Cruz, has narrow streets, colored houses and a nightlife scene. From here, an elevator or a steep climb leads to medieval Castillo de Santa Bárbara, set on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coast.

Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. The fantastical Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí dot the city. Museu Picasso and Fundació Joan Miró feature modern art by their namesakes. Plot summary

A film crew arrives in a borderland village in Spain to film a low-budget western, which changes the daily routine of its inhabitants, especially that of a group of young boys. The film represents the return of Sonia to her homeland, because she comes back home to play the leading role in the film. However, this is not the first time that the cinema industry has explored these lands. Fifty years before, Orson Welles wanted to shoot a western in the same area. Inspired by this story, Fran Ruvira searches for the phantom remains of this western, which was never made, and wants to finish the work as a form of expression.
