Plot summary

After spending several years in Venezuela, Isabel returns to Spain to heal from a neurosis. Her daughter Ana, abandoned by the woman when she was a four-year-old girl, decides to accompany her to the hospital. There, Ana meets Mario, a handsome and tormented alcoholic.
