Sfântu Gheorghe is a city that serves as the seat of Covasna County in Transylvania, Romania. Located in the central part of the country, it lies on the Olt River in a valley between the Baraolt Mountains and the Bodoc Mountains. The town administers two villages, Chilieni and Coșeni.

The city of Brașov features Saxon walls and bastions, as well as expansive Council Square, ringed by colorful baroque buildings, the towering Gothic Black Church and cafes. Nearby Poiana Brașov is a popular ski resort.

This documentary movie is a portrait of a Roma family in a small village in Romania. The parents of the family asked us (the co-directors) to become the godparents of the youngest daughter 10 years ago. This portrait was made during the four seasons- during the daily struggle of carrying for the existential needs. It is the final student project of Christiane Schmidt at university of television and film, munich.
