Plot summary
Paideia began operating in January 1978 in Mérida (Badajoz). Its origins are in Fregenal de la Sierra in an attempt of the Freedom School aborted by the Franco government. This initiative came from the hands of three women, professionals in education: Concha Castaño Casaseca, Mª Jesús Checa Simó y Josefa Martín Luengo. From 1978 to present, the Freedom School maintains the same ideology and the same goals.
