Plot summary

Hundreds of years before the founding of Aperture Fixtures, the city of Dunwall housed the brilliant mind of Piero Joplin, a natural philosopher and inventor. After stopping a terrible plague from destroying his city, Piero focuses his time on unfinished projects. Assisted by visions of the creature known only as The Outsider, Piero pursues after the project known as the "door to nowhere," a project allowing one to travel large distances with only a single step.
