Plot summary

The couple from Vienna, a theater director, and Daniel, a nursing home doctor, are going through a crisis. They love each other, but they can't stand each other. Both cling to their professional activity to fill the agonizing void in their lives. Their worlds and their needs are different, almost antagonistic. Story about the worst of loneliness: loneliness in company; about unsatisfied wishes and promises that cannot be fulfilled, but which become a pretext to continue living in spite of everything.
