Plot summary
Glinda looks back into the Book of Events, where she sees previous and present events. The Emerald City fell under the onslaught of the maidens, and Ginger usurped the throne and declared herself ruler. Mombi also joined them. The goodies approach the field of sunflowers, and everyone except Jack begins to feel dizzy. Top guesses that this is the work of Mombi, who wants to interfere with friends. Jack tells everyone to close their eyes and hold on to him, which they do.
