Plot summary
This story follows a couple in the midst of a world-ending calamity. One of the partners is an engineer, part of the team of scientists who are building a rocket to save people from the dying world. She finds out too late that not everyone is welcome on the rocket, and knows her lover will not be one of the lucky few. She stays behind with them, and they dance their last dance under the falling sky.
