A group of people coincidentally gather at a recently-constructed mansion in Lagonisi ("jackrabbit island") , East Attica. Each one has entirely different reasons to be there. The nominal owner of the mansion is a wealthy businessman, trapped for over two decades in an unhappy marriage. He is there to try to confess his attraction to his young, female secretary and hopefully start an extramarital affair with her. An unemployed actor is impersonating the businessman, and wants to use the mansion for a reunion with his long-lost daughter. He had lost custody of the girl when she was 2-years-old, and hopes to impress her with tales of wealth. The actor's sister is the security guard hired to protect the mansion, and wants to secure a happy meeting between her brother and her niece. Two failed thieves have chosen the mansion as a hiding place. One of them is a gambling addict, the other one is a camp gay man. The two young women who arrive at the mansion (the businessman's secretary and the actor's daughter) are part of the same age group, which leads to misunderstandings about their identity. The two young women are unaware of the schemes of everyone around them.
