Plot summary
Wealthy, 35 year-old longtime widow Leonarda Ruán & new guy in town, 20 year-old Genaro Onchi, with nothing to his name, unexpectedly fall deeply in love with each other. Their love is challenged by the very strong disapproval of the small, close-minded conservative town and by two men & three women who each intend to win over Leonarda & Genaro respectively.
