Vinkovci is a city in Slavonia, in the Vukovar-Syrmia County in eastern Croatia. The city settlement's population was 28,111 in the 2021 census, while the total population was 30,842, making it the largest town of the county.
Novska is a town in the Sisak-Moslavina County of Croatia. It is located in western part of the historic region of Slavonia, between Kutina and Nova Gradiška, 94 km linear distance southeast of the capital, Zagreb.
Zagreb, Croatia’s northwestern capital, is distinguished by its 18th- and 19th-century Austro-Hungarian architecture. Punchke (2013)
Film Punchke is the first collaboration of two young friends and filmmakers, Marinko Marinkic (18) and Filip Mestrovic (19). They followed famous croatian all-girl band Puncke and gave us first look back on their story: three young girls from small city Vinkovci 5 years ago formed a rock band and conquered the scene. Marinko and Filip meet Punchke on various locations such as place where they had first rehearsal (Rubys basement in her parents home), student apartment in Zagreb as well as in Slovenia (Menza pri koritu, Ljubljana), where they have many fans. Movie includes rare footage of previously unseen materials, with guests - Ida Prester (journalist, Lollobrigida), Vladimir Soldo - Adolf (Pogreb X, Satan Panonski), Milan Lazarevic - Zolja (The Uzas, Septica), cool representatives of famous Vinkovci rock scene, many friends... Enter the world of three girls, their dreams and music, find out more about the world we live in from their perspective.
