Bregenz is an Austrian city at the eastern end of Lake Constance (Bodensee). It is the capital of the state of Vorarlberg. The annual Bregenz Festival is a major event, with opera and music performances at the lakeside floating stage known as the Seebühne and the glass-front Festspielhaus. The baroque St. Martin’s Tower is topped by a huge wooden dome. It houses a history museum and offers sweeping views.

Farnborough is a town located in the Rushmoor district of Hampshire, England. It has a population of around 57,486 as of the 2011 census and is an important centre of aviation, engineering and technology.

Part of the City of London financial district, Barbican centres on the Barbican Estate. The Brutalist 1960s complex is home to housing, a lake with a terraced cafe, and the Barbican Centre arts hub, which hosts theatre, classical and contemporary music, art exhibitions, and film.
