The Comunidade Intermunicipal Viseu Dão Lafões is an administrative division in Portugal. It replaced the previously existing Greater Metropolitan Area of Viseu. Thirty years ago, Violante was about to marry the ambitious Daniel, but he abandoned her at the altar for the wealthy Eugénia, showing that money doesn't bring happiness. Now, back in Portugal after an unhappy marriage in Spain, Violante accidentally kills her husband, discovering he had an illegitimate son.
