Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Wintergardens. Near Downtown, Mission Bay Beach has a seaside promenade.

Arkhangelsk, also known as Archangel and Archangelsk, is a city and the administrative center of Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia. It lies on both banks of the Northern Dvina near its mouth into the White Sea. The city spreads for over 40 kilometres along the banks of the river and numerous islands of its delta.

Siberia is a vast Russian province encompassing most of Northern Asia, with terrain spanning tundra, coniferous forest and mountain ranges including the Ural, Altai and Verkhoyansk. Lake Baikal, in its south, is the world’s deepest lake, circled by a network of hiking paths called the Great Baikal Trail. The Trans-Siberian Railway passes Baikal on its route between Moscow and the Sea of Japan.

Krasnodar is a city in southern Russia. It's known for its steel-lattice water tower, designed in the early 20th century by architect Vladimir Shukhov. The Krasnodar Philharmonic Society hosts a range of state performance groups in an opulent 1909 hall. Nearby, the large, 5-domed St. Catherine's Cathedral was consecrated in 1914. To the north, the landscaped Chistyakovskaya Roshcha park has century-old oak trees.

Los Angeles is a sprawling Southern California city and the center of the nation’s film and television industry. Near its iconic Hollywood sign, studios such as Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers offer behind-the-scenes tours. On Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre displays celebrities’ hand- and footprints, the Walk of Fame honors thousands of luminaries and vendors sell maps to stars’ homes.

Detroit is the largest city in the midwestern state of Michigan. Near Downtown, the neoclassical Detroit Institute of Arts is famed for the Detroit Industry Murals painted by Diego Rivera, and inspired by the city’s ties to the auto industry, giving it the nickname "Motor City." Detroit is also the birthplace of Motown Records, whose chart-topping history is on display at their original headquarters, Hitsville U.S.A.

Birmingham is a city in the north central region of Alabama. Birmingham is the county seat of Jefferson County, Alabama's most populous county.

Ottumwa is a city in and the county seat of Wapello County, Iowa, United States. The population was 25,529 at the time of the 2020 U.S. Census. Located in the state's southeastern section, the city is split into northern and southern halves by the Des Moines River.

Whangarei is a city in the Northland region of New Zealand's North Island. It's home to the Whangarei Falls, which tumble over cliff into a natural pool. Overlooking the city, volcanic Mount Parihaka features a war memorial and the remains of Maori villages. By the Hatea River, the Town Basin is a boat-dotted marina with restaurants, shops and galleries. Nearby, Claphams Clock Museum displays eclectic vintage clocks.

Invercargill is a city near the southern tip of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s a gateway to wilderness areas including Stewart Island, with its Rakiura Track. Queens Park features flower displays and sports facilities. In town, Bill Richardson Transport World features a vast collection of vintage automobiles. To the southeast, Waituna Lagoon is home to abundant birdlife and trout populations.
