Plot summary
After being away for three years, the filmmaker, who lives in the United States, visits his family for ten short days in Turkey. He films his mother's daily activities and talks to her about life and family. While the film focuses on a mother and son's relationship, it investigates the long-term effects of the immigration of the filmmaker's family from Bulgaria to Turkey, and the life of a widow in a patriarchal culture.
