Salta is a provincial capital in mountainous northwestern Argentina. Founded in 1582, it’s known for its Spanish colonial architecture and Andean heritage. The city centers on Plaza 9 de Julio, an elegant, cafe-lined square bordered by the neoclassical Salta Cathedral and El Cabildo, an 18th-century town hall turned historical museum. Plot summary

3.000 meters above sea level, isolated in the mountains of the province of Salta and very close to the frontier between Argentina and Bolivia, there is a kolla aboriginal community named Rodeo Colorado. In a zone considered inhospitable, 500 inhabitants face very hard life conditions in a place where the only States presence is the school. Analía, its principal, prepares the Revolution Day celebration and she tries to instill love for the country in her pupils. Cornelio, the schools janitor, has to travel to the capital city of Saltas province to look for the money to pay the food for the pupils. Elvira and other people from Rodeo Colorado help Analía to find a bull that will be eaten during the Revolution Day celebration. All Rodeo Colorados community will participate. The film invites to share the everyday life of the community, showing the relation between the school and people.
