Gama, the daughter of the archivist Theobald, is in love with her music teacher, Genius. Gama reciprocates him, but Tosio, a rich but under-daddy suitor of Gama, stands in the way, who is trying to marry her and enjoys the sympathy of his parents, unlike Genius.
