Plot summary

Billy Joe is living in Smiltene with his girlfriend Jana. When he learns that Bauska Country festival has announced a competition for new bands, he sees it as his big chance. The problem is the entrance fee, so Billy decides to "borrow" the money that Jana has saved up for a new water heater. Meanwhile Jana has learned that she is pregnant and the dreamer's nature of Billy which once was so charming, now is becoming an issue. The couple fight about the money and Billy decides to take a desperate step - sell his soul to the devil to become a famous musician.
