Adelaide Hills Council is a local government area in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. It is in the hills east of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. It extends from the South Para Reservoir in the north, to the Mount Bold Reservoir in the south.

Modbury is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Tea Tree Gully. Modbury is located at the end of the Adelaide O-Bahn and is home to the Tea Tree Plaza shopping complex and Modbury Hospital. It was named Modbury by R. S. Kelly, on 1 September 1840, after his native town in Devonshire.

Affluent North Adelaide centres on O’Connell Street, with its heritage pubs, upscale Italian restaurants and high-end boutiques, as well as the art deco Piccadilly Cinemas showing blockbuster movies. The Botanic Garden, next to Adelaide Zoo, includes rare plants, while the Adelaide Oval stadium hosts cricket and football. Victorian-era St. Peter’s Cathedral has stained glass and sculptures.
