Plot summary

The young laboratory Ewa receives anonymous ransom letters. In her fear she turns to Piotr, with whom she has had a relationship in the past. The doctor Piotr is glad that she asks him for help, because he hopes to win her back this way. Although Ewa sends the blackmailer the demanded amount money he is not heard from.
