Plot summary

In April 1864, Francis Drake was ordered to march 1,800 Union soldiers to Pine Bluff to restock supplies for the Red River Campaign. The only road, however, was through the muddy forests of south Arkansas, and unknown to Drake, Confederate soldiers were camped along the way.
