The Cycle (2019)
"The Cycle" is the third short movie of director to make in Germany in 2019. The short film The Cycle shows a brief overview of the "cycle" of oppression and exploitation. On the one hand women, queers, the elderly, refugees and the physically and mentally handicapped, and on the other the hierarchy of power and domination with all its means: government, religion, media and elections. An image of a contemporary human being marginalized under the late capitalism domination is eliminated and oppressed. Mehrdad Amini Nasab has made this film with the participation of refugees, foreigners, and people with handicap. A collective film that its director says about in a conversation with a German magazine "A Film Made by Minorities for Minorities". And it is from this perspective that the film is dedicated by the director to the workers, especially the combative workers of Iran.
