Krasnoyarsk is a city on the Yenisei River in Siberia, Russia. To the north, the 19th-century Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel offers city views atop Karaulnaya Hill. South of the city center, Stolby Nature Sanctuary is home to volcanic rock pillars ("stolby") and sprawling forests.
