Close by, Brandenburg Cathedral has a chapel with a painted vault, a baroque organ and a museum displaying medieval textiles. The late-medieval St. Paul’s Monastery is home to the Archaeological Museum. Nearby are the ruins of the medieval town wall.

Potsdam is a city on the border of Berlin, Germany. Sanssouci Palace was once the summer home of Frederick the Great, former King of Prussia. On the grounds of the complex, the Renaissance Orangery Palace overlooks Italian-style gardens with fountains. Historic Mill offers city views. English gardens surround neoclassical Charlottenhof Palace. The 19th-century Roman Baths were built in several architectural styles.

Newnan is a city in and the county seat of Coweta County, Georgia, United States, about 40 miles southwest of Atlanta. Its population was 42,549 at the 2020 census, up from 33,039 in 2010.

Sweetwater Creek State Park is a 2,549 acres Georgia state park in east Douglas County, 15 miles from downtown Atlanta. The park is named after Sweetwater Creek which runs through it.

Douglas County is a county located in the north central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, the population was 144,237, having more than doubled since 1990. The county seat is Douglasville. The City of Villa Rica, and a small portion of Austell are both also located in Douglas County.
