Plot summary
In The Lighter, disheveled Alex knocks at the door of Sarah, his ex. It is early in the morning and she opens, freshly woken up by Alex' knocks and irritated by his visit. Alex asks for a lighter- their lighter, the one they used to share and that he holds as a symbol of their relationship. Sarah eventually returns it to him, and he dismantles it, letting go of the past bit by bit in order to move on.
