Plot summary

A despondent, alcoholic former writer for the "Miami Herald" finds himself face-down in a South Beach bar when a newsflash featuring his hometown, Indian Camp Mountain, North Carolina catches his eye. Apparently, Bigfoot sightings are rampant in that area. In a moment of clarity, he decides to head home to report the story in an effort to reconnect with his roots, resurrect his career,, and repair his relationship with his estranged father, the sheriff. What he doesn't know is that his friends have concocted a story to help this former award-winning reporter re-establish his career. In the process he reconnects, then disconnects, with reality in a hysterically-funny yet dramatic midnight movie that will not be forgotten for a long time after its 71st minute. Join award-winning director/writer/actor Bubba Cromer for this first feature-length movie filmed on location in the Appalachian Mountains.
