The Poem (2011)
A story about writer Austra Skujina based on real life events that occurred just before her death. Austra spends her days between her work at the Ministry of Agriculture and writing poems in a bohemian café full of young dreamers and writers just like herself. The unfortunate late night meeting with unpleasant policeman Saltups triggers a series of unexpected events. The young poet is forced to choose either to give in to policeman's blackmail or take a risk and report him to his superiors. During these events Austra Skujina writes her last poem that was published just before her untimely death.
