The Rink (2019)
The Rink's story opens at a roller rink in Texas in the dead of night, following two young women, Mae and Lo. Lo is nervous as she's in the process of asking Mae something important. Looming around them in the roller rink, are a strange cast of characters. These are Lo's compadres. At the center of this group is an older man named Bill, who seems to have power among them, and a young woman named Tess, who is eerily skating the rink alone. As Lo finally works herself up to ask Mae her question, an uninvited guest walks in: the owner of the rink who has called the cops on the apparent intruders. Lo's big night has just gone to shit and there's bloody hell to pay.
