Beaver Creek is a mountain village in Colorado. It’s home to Beaver Creek Resort, with its ski runs, terrain parks and cross-country routes. In summer, flower-dotted Beaver Creek Mountain has a hiking center. The Vilar Performing Arts Center Beaver Creek presents theater, concerts and comedy. The Children's Museum at Beaver Creek offers play-based exhibits, while the Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre has shows nearby.
Big Sur is a rugged stretch of California’s central coast between Carmel and San Simeon. Bordered to the east by the Santa Lucia Mountains and the west by the Pacific Ocean, it’s traversed by narrow, 2-lane State Route 1, known for winding turns, seaside cliffs and views of the often-misty coastline. "The Story" stars Bode Miller, Lindsey Vonn, Bobby Brown, Willie Bogner, Chris Davenport, Kristi Leskinen, Chris Benchetler, Reggie and Zack Crist, Mike Douglas and numerous other stars of skiing, snowboarding, speed flying, paragliding, river surfing and kite skiing. The film takes viewers into deep character dives with the most famous skiers to the most obscure ski bums as well as to the top of Mount Everest, never before skied steeps in Alaska and various gut-wrenching variations on human flight.
