Plot summary
Gösta Engzell, a down prioritised bureaucrat at the Swedish Foreign Ministry during the 2nd World War. When Gösta and his team become aware that something terrible is happening to the Jews, they come up with a brilliant plan to fool the Nazis. This is a Swedish story of an unknown hero who saved thousands of lives and turned the so-called neutral Sweden into a moral superpower along the way.
