Welwyn Garden City is a town in Hertfordshire, England, 20 miles north of London. It was the second garden city in England and one of the first new towns. It is unique in being both a garden city and a new town and exemplifies the physical, social and cultural planning ideals of the periods in which it was built.

High Wycombe is an English town northwest of London. It's in the rolling countryside of the Chiltern Hills. Local art and furniture are exhibited at Wycombe Museum, in a centuries-old house with lush gardens. Hughenden Manor is the former residence of Benjamin Disraeli, the 19th-century prime minister. Near town, West Wycombe Park is another stately home. Hell-Fire Caves is an explorable man-made cave network.

Letchworth Garden City, commonly known as Letchworth, is a town in the North Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, England. It is noted for being the first garden city. The population at the time of the 2021 census was 33,990. Letchworth was an ancient parish, appearing in the Domesday Book of 1086.

Vibrant Hoxton is home to indie art galleries and cool bars, with trendy global eateries surrounding the green space of Hoxton Square and classic Vietnamese restaurants along busy Kingsland Road. The Regent’s Canal has a popular towpath walk, and down-to-earth Hoxton Street Market sells food, clothes, and housewares. The Geffrye Museum has rooms with period furnishings in an 18th-century almshouse.

St. Albans is a city in the commuter belt north of London, England. Its vast centuries-old cathedral features medieval wall paintings. Nearby, Verulamium Park has ornamental lakes and the remains of the city's ancient Roman wall. Also here is the Verulamium Museum, displaying artefacts from the city’s Roman past, including mosaics and the Sandridge Hoard of gold coins. A 2nd-century Roman theatre stands nearby.
