TOBIAS is a barefoot mountain boy from Mexico who dreams of becoming a professional basketball player. Like TOBIAS, we all have a journey into the unknown, we must learn as he does, to keep walking with the only baggage we truly have, our bellybuttons buried in our homeland. Basketball is only the excuse to discover new horizons that before seemed unreachable. To see the world through TOBIAS eyes, to walk barefoot in the jungle next to him and eat a fresh tortilla from his mom's fire, the nucleus of TOBIAS universe. TOBIAS is a film about dreams, about the journey, not the destination. Our goal is to share the beauty that is hidden in the small details. There's no poverty when you're rich inside. TOBIAS will teach us to see life from a different perspective.
