Plot summary
in Rome, 1943, occupied by the Germans, Lieutenant Stelvio Parmegiani, a deserter from the Italian army, hides in a hotel and meets nurse Jolanda Morigi. She offers to hide him at her home, and in a short time, they begin a relationship.
